Uptravi health app
Documenting challenges to find the optimal dose for Uptravi medication for the condition “Pulmonary arterial hypertension”. This proof of concept app acts as an aid and support hub to document crucial side effects and emotions amidst severe side effects.
Users and Audience: I engaged with Janssen stakeholders and Health Care Professionals, as well gathering insights from patients whom were using the drug and had the condition.
Roles & Responsibilities: As UX/UI lead, I collaborated remotely, crafting user personas, wish lists, and wireframes for a global solution.
Wireframes: The app, an MVP for proof of product, tackled a global problem with mobile and print versions for diverse accessibility.
Process and Thinking: Prioritizing simplicity, the app features an intuitive mood scale with regular check ins and goal driven milestones, fostering a supportive patient community. Health Care Professionals benefit from transparent patient tracking.
Conclusion
Conceptually successful, budget constraints paused progress, leaving untapped potential like smartwatch integration. Despite challenges, the project underscores technology’s positive impact on health challenges, with hope for future advancements.
