A product designer who likes the complicated bit

I’m a Senior Product Designer based in Gerrards Cross. Most of my work involves products with a lot going on underneath them: payments, operational workflows, regulated journeys and large enterprise systems.

Over the last 15+ years I’ve worked with startups, agencies and enterprise organisations, usually where the product is too important to bluff through and too messy to solve with a neat set of screens.

My work often sits between product direction, UX and delivery. I work closely with founders, product teams and engineering so the design can hold up against real constraints.

I’m especially useful when journeys are dense, requirements are still moving, or the team needs design judgement across the product, the system and the commercial decision behind it.

Product & UX

  • Product design from early thinking to delivery
  • Dense flow design
  • Mobile-first and responsive UX
  • User testing and validation
  • Behavioural design and optimisation

Systems & scale

  • Design systems and component libraries
  • Reusable patterns across large product surfaces
  • MVP decisions that leave room to grow
  • Consistency across web, mobile and product teams

Collaboration

  • Embedded product team delivery
  • Ambiguous requirements into buildable work
  • Founder-level ownership
  • Commercially aware decisions

Outside work I’m a father, committed rower and regular cyclist, usually spending weekends outdoors across the Chilterns with my family and dog, Lady. I’ve completed more than two million metres on my Hydrow and ride London to Brighton for the British Heart Foundation each year.
